Artist Bio

Taj Anthony, a 23-year-old artist originally from ​Maryland and currently based in Richmond, Virginia, ​specializes in contemporary and neo-expressionist ​art. His work explores themes of personal identity, the ​ups and downs of mental health, and his unique ​worldview as a Black man. Since his debut exhibition in ​2022, Taj has demonstrated notable evolution in both ​style and technique, continually refining his craft and ​presenting thought-provoking concepts that ​captivate and engage viewers.
